I have great internet! Did a speed test to compare speeds… – I’ve been using this product for about a month now and it has worked flawlessly every single day! My router is located downstairs, on the other end of my house. My wifi used to barely reach my room. After 3 minutes of setup, I have great internet! Did a speed test to compare speeds. The first test (5.74 Mbps Download Speed) was without the extender. The second test (16.74 Mbps) was with the extender. It nearly tripled my speed! Very happy with the product. Well worth the cost. Only wish I would’ve purchased it sooner.nksirtfghbbvgr

Quick setup, fast enough for me. Does what it is supposed to…. – Setup didn’t take long, though in today’s relative lack of patience, it felt like kind of a long time. Maybe 2 minutes to get some of the lights to come on to the status at which you expect them to – power, wi-fi link, and device link just take a little while to finally come to their senses. It’s probably 45 seconds, but it feels like a good 5 minutes while you’re staring at the stupid thing, waiting for the next step.Plug it in near the router, wait for power light, hit the WPS buttons on this and my TrendNet router, wait for wi-fi link to show, move it closer to the dead/weak zone, plug in, wait for the wi-fi link to change to green, and you’re good!Allegedly, the wi-fi link LED shows you how strong the signal is (red? move it closer to the router. orange? move it a little closer), but when I plugged mine in, it was orange for a while until it finally linked up and then it was green, and it has been working GREAT for me. Our router is about 2/3 of the way toward the back of the house, downstairs. I plugged this in, upstairs, about 1/3 of the way toward the back of the house. I was struggling to get halfway decent speeds from the front room upstairs before, but with this extender, it’s been smooth sailing.Have not yet noticed if my phone (Pixel XL) has been automatically switching between the original and extender, but I know that I’ve manually pushed it to do so before.Regardless, it was an easy setup, I got it cheap on Prime Day ($25) and for that price I couldn’t be happier with the results. We’ll be moving some rooms around in the coming months, which may move them further apart, testing the limits of the range, etc. Hopefully I’ll remember to come back here and update.nksirtfghbbvgr

Works exactly as described! Great value!… – We have a 3700 Square Foot House and a powerful router, but the basement gets poor reception on the edges so sometimes we get a signal and sometimes we don’t. I had an extra router and set that up but it’s a different network so my phone would automatically switch from one network to the other in the house depending on where I was.I have a Sonos Streaming system and in order to control the different zones, I need to be on the same network. I wasn’t sure if this would work for that or not but thought I would give it a try. The set-up was done by connecting this via hardline to my router (I had to supply this cable as it is not included). I then went to a website to set everything up and the network is named the same as my existing network with the same password but with an _EXT at the end of it. I wasn’t sure this would work for my Sonos system as the network wasn’t exactly the same name-but Voila! It works like a charm. Now I have NO dead spots and strong signals with fast speeds across my entire house. I stream Netflix off of this signal and whatever else. The item took me about 15-20 minutes to set up and now looks plugged in to the wall just like this picture. This is an awesome value. Stop dealing with dead spots in your house and just get this to extend your network and have strong signals everywhere. Bravo!nksirtfghbbvgr
