Timely delivery, good quality product – I received the product via Express Mail (not courier) ahead of schedule ( good surprises still happen ! ), packaging was very good and included the power supply 5V/1A and an RS232 Cable as well. Logged into the device with no problems, very easy to use interface in it’s software setup. Product was shipped via Expedited Mail (not courier) and arrived ahead of estimated schedule, always nice !

Using it for Modbus-TCP to Modbus-RTU on our TestEquity chamber – Wanted this to convert Modbus-TCP to Modbus-RTU for a Watlow PM6 controller on a TestEquity TEC1 chamber.

Doesn’t work with MAVlink protocol – Tried pairing this with a RFD900 radio modem for use with a UAV ground control station. GCS is complaining about unknown packets. Both Mission Planner and MAVproxy never get the heartbeat to initiate communication. Web interface sucks and has limited options.

Works with Avigilon / HID Vertex controllers – Used 2 of these to extend the 485 buss from an Avigilon V1000 Embedder controller that normally will not support V2000 ethernet 2 door controllers. I set up a point to point bridge to a building across the street. 250mb connection. Then used V100 door controller with 485 in. Once i set up the host and client then set the correct baud rate they connected. My access card swipes and open time are fast. Good product. They come with a fixed IP address of 192.168.0.6 or .7 no printed instructions. So make Shure you have internet access during you install.

Ethernet to RS485 converter did not work – I had extreme trouble getting these to work. I was trying use the ethernet to rs485 conversion feature this promises but it does not work if your end terminals are not PCs. Plus when they do work, it used to be momentary and then stop. Even their customer service did not understand why our setup (1 as tcp server and other as tcp client) would not work. Ended up returning it and buying an expensive product to achieve my goal
