Works well…for about 9 months. – This has been a live saver for me considering my room is in the very back of the house, and the router is in the living room in the front of the house. HOWEVER, 9 months later it goes out about once a week and I have to go through the reset/setup process every time.

A great alternative to running cable. – The home we just moved in to currently only has a modem router combo provided by our internet provider. Our wireless set up doesn’t lend itself well to someone who works from home on a different floor from where the router is currently set up, so I decided to give this powerline adapter a try. It was an easy set up for me especially since my desktop is pretty close to an outlet. Powerline adapters are meant to be plugged directly into the wall and not into a power strip because a good power strip keeps signals from other sources other than electricity out of the plugs.

Useful for gaming! – Good product for connection, but it does affect my download speeds, to which I can take the plug out and fix the problem. Rare spikes at times but for the most part, they are very consistent, especially for how far my router is. (this is a causal review, I’d say get the product if you think it’s for you!)

wired speed can only be around 50 to 60 mbps – The wired speed can only be 50-60M even though my ISP can support 200M.

Great Product But Misrepresented – I like the adapters but the seller did not mention that these were used. The boxes were beat up, the cables were squished into the box, without any cable ties that are normally used to keep the cables neat and organized. The boxes were also missing the instructions. Luckily the adapters are plug and play.

Know your electrical system – It matters the most – I own the kit to get Wifi into my garage and it works great. So well, I decided to get another extender to kick up the speed of my weak wifi signal where the PS4 is located.

866Mps In My Garage, WOW!!! Works Perfect. – I bought this product for 2 reasons. First so that I had internet to an outside location for better connectivity with my home security cameras. Secondly so I could have a good internet connection in my garage for when I need to look something up for projects and play music. The instructions were easy to understand. I was able to duplicate the router wifi signal with the WPN settings and move the wifi extender into the garage mainting my 1 gig internet service. I was blown away at the speed on my devices in the garage and the improved connectivity of my security cameras. I thought the signal would for sure drop over that massive distance. I would recommend this product to anyone. Gread product!
