Rated 5 out of 5
Z. K (verified owner)–
Good features, old-fashioned UI – I needed switches with POE and SFP for a segregated network. I will probably never see bandwidth over 1Gbps over any LAN/WAN link. I could have bought a few smaller unmanaged switches, or one that was capable of VLAN. Pricewise, there is a slight advantage to separate hardware but there is the extra clutter and managing the extra power cords. Since it is going in a rack, space and power outlets are at a premium.

Good value managed PoE switch with some quirks – I was looking for a step up from an 8 port unmanaged PoE switch and this switch seemed reasonably priced for the specs. The interface is reasonably easy to navigate but the manual is not very helpful; it doesn’t provide much additional details than what you can read from the interface. After my initial issue with the trunk ports not routing my VLAN traffic everything has been working great.
