Handy for laptop with no Ethernet connector – I have a laptop that has only two USB 3 connectors, and no Ethernet connector. This compact adapter gives me the ethernet along with more USB ports. I had no problem with the Ethernet or USB connections, this is on a Dell XPS 13 laptop.

Turns USB Into Ethernet, Plus Adds Two USBs – This adds ethernet via USB, in case your computer doesn’t already have an ethernet port. Many laptops don’t. Plus, it gives you back the USB port and then some. Very generous.

Been great for my surface. – I have a surface that I use to watch shows on while using the main computer. This allowed me to plug it into the network while also giving me additional slots. Since the surface only has one usb slow with out a dock.

Useful Adapter for Devices with Few USB Ports or No Ethernet Port – This is a generic USB 3.0 hub with a gigabit ethernet port. Tried this on my Xiaomi Mi Box S and it works very well. The ethernet works as intended and plugging in external hard drives on the USB ports work as intended. The hard drive was recognized by a file manager and VLC on Android TV. Besides the orange and green light to indicate the ethernet port is active, there are no other LED that emit from this product (namely, no LED light surrounding the edges of the USB ports). But overall, a useful adapter for laptops and media players that do not have an ethernet port.

It Works But – I can somewhat recommend this because it does work as an adapter and the USB ports do work but the drawback from what I’ve seen is that you have it connected with the Ethernet and something in the USB inside one of the ports it tends to get really hot, I never let it get too hot but that fact itself does raise some safety concern so I can’t recommend this unless improvements are made.

Would Not Establish An Ethernet Connection – After trying this USB to Ethernet adapter on two different computers, it would NOT make an Ethernet connection. Since it would not give me an Ethernet connection I did not test its USB ports to see if they worked. Instead, I threw it away.
