I goofed, but so far. . . UPDATE – UPDATE: I have now spent some time using the hub and found two things which I do not like about it. There are no markings on the case whatsoever to provide information about the various connections available. This is specifically an issue with the USB-C ports. ONE of them is PD (Power Delivery), the other is not. Without the specific icons etched into the case, I am sure I would screw up in 6 months’ time and plug in the charger to the wrong port. That seems a design flaw. The two other Hubs I own both have markings to indicate type of port. Additionally, the Hub does get very warm when power is plugged in. Warm enough that I could feel heat through a pair of jeans as the computer and hub were on my lap.

Small and versatile mullti function docking station – Cable is a little short for our needs so we had to order an extender cable to go with it. Other than that its pretty great. It has ports for pretty much all the things. The wireless charging works through an Otterbox on an Google Pixel 6. It is small and easily portable so would be good for someone who wants to be able to connect a variety of memory cards and/jump drives while on the go.

Functional multiport adapter, lacking any markings – I was pleasantly surprised to find that this inexpensive adapter/hub worked as described – at least for my (limited) needs. I have tried several other similarly priced adapters and found them to be functionally lacking – particularly when connecting to my TV via the HDMI port. My HP laptop power supply plugged into the power delivery (PD) port supplied adequate power to keep the laptop battery @ 100%. It did not get hot to the touch in the process. I have not tested its ability to actually charge the battery from a discharged state. The USB ports worked with the few devices I tried, e.g., memory sticks, transmitter for wireless keyboard & mouse, etc.

Over heating – Everything works… It obvious that the wireless charging is a little iffy (Samsung s21) …no case directly on the block it charges at maybe 6-8 watts …very slow and it gets so hot I can hardly hold it in my hand …something is wrong with it …very handy in all other aspects 10 out of 10.

An essential for newer laptops! – My previous work laptop had a lot of ports built-in: USB-A, VGA, HDMI, headphone, SD, etc, so I didn’t have to think about how to connect to anything. Now, I have a Microsoft Studio Laptop and I love it, but it only has two USB-C ports! Therefore, to connect to any other type of plug, I need one of these hubs.

I like this adapter for my macbook pro and ipad – This adapter works perfect for me and it charges my phone and or my ear pods

Light and slim. – It’s very light and slim. It had a very nice brushed aluminum finish which makes it seem “not cheap”. All the ports work but only one of the usb-c ports was charging my devices. It’s not the fastest out there but it gets the job done.
