Works well with my MacBook Air – I have a new MacBook Air, which has NO USB ports, so I needed a way to plug in multiple USB items to my laptop. This multi-hub port worked very well. It allowed me to plug in a clicker controller, and a USB flash drive simultaneously, and they both worked seamlessly.

This leaves my other USB-C port free and adds 3 USB-A ports with this hub which is exactly what I needed as many peripherals still require a USB-A connector.

I tested this on Windows 11 and Linux and worked out of the box without any additional drivers needed on my Lenovo Thinkpad.

Do you ever feel like an old time phone operator? – Most computers don’t come with enough ports. Rather than constantly plugging and unplugging so you can get a printer/videocam/phones/etc., just plug this in and relax. I love no more games of “now which black cord is THIS”!

I’ve been less impressed with the challenge of attaching my USB-A legacy peripherals to its exclusive USB-C ports when I’m using it with an external monitor. This device solves that problem. With this hub, I can hook up my Zoom Camera, speakers, Stream Deck, and Dymo Label Printer and I’m back in business. Pop out the hub and video connector, and I’m back in portable laptop mode. This hub seems quite sturdy, but slim and doesn’t take up much desk space. The ports seem fast enough, too. Overall, this was a good solution to an annoying problem.
