No manual, no CD, no telephone support – Works well enough and with good range but the (sealed) package did NOT include the quick start guide or the CD that Ubiquiti claims it comes with. Worse yet the on-line quick start guide says it requires a 24v PoE injector. That is not true. It required 48v.

Expensive Frisbee is Handy – If you’re a tech dud, like me, you may struggle. Fortunately, I know many tech people who do this stuff for me.

Super Easy Setup – My parents have been running the same modem/router combo for the last 6 years or so and after I wasn’t able to stream properly with five bars, I decided to upgrade. Chose this WiFi access point and have been loving the device ever since. The setup took me 2 minutes and I just plugged it in and set up the relative info. Now I can download at full speed while playing an online game and not lag out! And it also just looks awesome in the first place

Great Product – All of the Ubiquity line is impressive. Their new phone app makes set up quick. Ubiquity is an expensive option but you get what you pay for. Powerful full coverage of you area. Just remember they put out what you put in. They do not magically increase network speed. KNOW going in they never have and probably never will have tech support. IF YOU do not know how to set this style of wireless device up and need help, you are SOL.

No more residential grade wifi equipment. This is the way to go. – I’ve been through at least 6 sets of wireless equipment over the years and have never been happy with any of them. This equipment is commercial grade and will provide a much better performance and longevity over time. Do a web search for “residential wifi vs ubiquiti” to understand further.
