Works for flash drives – I’ll give this 3 stars. I purchased a new laptop with USB-C ports, but I have peripherals I have to use daily that require USB 2 or 3. When I connect other things such as my foot pedal or printer, they are not recognized. I know it is not an incompatibility of my peripherals, because if I use a single non-hub USB-C to USB, they do work. The problem is, my new laptop has only two ports, and I need a minimum of three to hook up everything I need to use, so needed a hub. If you only need for occasional file transfer and own a lot of the usual non-USB-C flash drives, it’s great, but it’s not going to work for my needs.

Great product for a USB-C port computer. Would recommend. – Great product. I have an Acer E15 laptop and all the regular USB ports are around the sides of the computer very close to where my hands rest slightly off the sides and I bought this because I wanted to get all my USB plugs out of the way and this thing really is great. With around 2 feet of cord this allows my to get all my usb plugs out of my way and behind my laptop. Great product.

best quality for money – I have two of these for about two years now. For such an affordable price, this is very much worth the purchase. I have seen many pricy hubs and this does the job as good as any of them. I had used the velcro that comes with it to affix it to my laptop cooling pad and use it on a daily basis.
