Signal Good I guess it’s alright since it’s kinda far away from where the router is placed. – I couldn’t get the 3rd mesh box to recognized

It reaches my yard now. That’s all I wanted. – All I wanted was for my internet to reach the yard and it does now. I’ve been wanting to have movie nights streaming from my laptop to my projector, but I the internet strength would drop dramatically due to my internet router being in the front of the house. This dramatically improved coverage and made internet more convenient, I love having Ethernet ports on them too. It makes connecting to the internet easier and it is a nice option to avoid connecting to the WiFi and losing quality. I also think they look so cool and I love them on the shelf. But what is cooler is how quickly I set them up, I really appreciate not having to go through something overly complicated. I just connected all the cords to their spots and that was essentially it.

Not as good as the previous model MW6, poor WIFI random disconnects. Not ready for Prime Time – I had the previous model MW6 and was very happy with it. I gave it to my daughter and purchased the MW12 thinking it wold be an upgrade….but no luck. The previous MW6 would give me connections to 40 plus devices on 3 floors and the back yard. Connection via wifi were about 100-150 consistently on the MW6. The MW12 would connect via wifi between 80-90 and randomly the secondary nodes would go off line. I though i may have had a bad unit so i tried a new one same issue poor connection random nodes offline. No firmware available to fix issues.

Works better than 5 Tenda MW6s – I need something to replace the 5 Tenda MW6s in the house as they were having a hard time keeping up with a family of 6 and all of the IOT’s I have in the house. I just got this system this morning and I have to say I am happy. None of the issues I had before and a strong signal though-out my 3800 sq ft home. I recommend this buy. You cannot beat the price and value.

Wish I had bought a better brand. – I waited too long after buying this to install and missed the window to be able to return to Amazon. Only 2 of the 3 “Nodes” work. I’ve reset and reinstalled numerous times before and after talking to Tech Support. Tech Support was with a non-American that was extremely difficult to understand. At $200 plus this wasn’t a cheap unit. It’s supposed to cover 6,000 square feet. I can’t get internet in my garage which is less than 50 feet from either of the working Nodes. I got an RMA to return the unit, but I have to return it at my expense! I’m not even sure if I get a new set or if they are going to refurbish this one. Wish I had boughten a different brand. A friend had an older version that he put in his mother’s house. I moved my office home and so put this unit in to improve my WiFi. This has been a mistake. Research shows much better brands available. Wish I had followed.

Zero technical requirements to set up – It was so easy to set up. The main one connect power and Ethernet, name it and set password with downloaded Tenda app, done!
