Market leader in Wifi routers – This is excellent next generation Wifi 6 (AX) router. It is a solid upgrade to the already capable Synology RT2600ac router. It is fast, reliable, secure (WPA3), user friendly and full of advanced features (VPN, NAS, parental controls etc.). GUI is intuitive (even better than RT2600ac – previous Synology router). Setup and firmware update were flawless. Router is fast and reliable. Signal is strong and none of my diverse list of 30+ devices (phones, consoles, TV, cameras, speakers, laptops, tablet ) have any connectivity or compatibility issues. Both new and legacy devices (e.g. ps3) work with this router without any issues. No dropped connections, no slowdowns, everything just works. The signal coverage is excellent. I would prefer to have internal power supply on this router instead of having bulky external power adapter – but none of the routers have this feature.

Solid Enterprise Class Router for Home or Small Business – I swapped out my TPLINKs for the this and the RT2600ac for a mesh wifi point. The features and interface is unbeatable if you understand networking, want the ease of use and the visibility of your connections. There is nothing better. The SRM 1.3 version (that you must upgrade to when you get this) makes it all work well. The support is lacking or spotty (esp on holiday/weekends) and the responsiveness needs improvement to address any issues you might have. Great product but needs stronger skilled support staff. Worth the price if your an avg or advanced user and want more control, visibility and management of home or business network.

Great Router and Access Point, with one exception – One star away from being perfect in my environment and it all comes down to what I feel is a miss in how the router supports network ports.

Wow wow wow.. – I am around 24 hours into using this amazing piece of kit and I have to say it is mind blowing. If you want total control over your network, this will do the job. Live stats about what device is doing what, the ability to shut down network access to any device with a single click. The ability to easily split the physical ports into different networks and then allow or deny them from seeing each other. Wow.

Really good compromise between enterprise features and consumer cost – I’m and IT professional who wanted features it was used to in DD-WRT but with support and more reliability. This is one of the few routers with real VLAN support, good security features, and VPN support. The UI takes some getting used to, but overall it’s very usable.

Strong WiFi Signal – This is my first time purchasing this product and I have to say that I’m still figuring out everything but so far I’m very happy with this especially with its strong WiFi signal and it’s parental controls.

Goodbye ASUS – After using Asus routers for 2 decades with AX92u as the latest which gave me headaches with unreliable guest networks for smart home devices.

Easy setup and use – Out of the box, it was really easy to set up the device. I had also ordered a mesh WIFI extender, which was found and configured effortlessly. The system is robust and has enough resources to manage several packages without affecting speed (with the exception of Threat Prevention which only has a minimal affect). I’m very happy with the purchase.
