It just did not work? – I liked nothing about this product – it did not work as advertized

Garbage – This product is complete garbage, and I would live the two hours of my life back that I wasted trying to set this thing up. First off, I have a Sony Bravia XR50X90J with the latest software update, and I had already been using my WH-1000XM4’s with no issues connected to this TV via Bluetooth. The sound was great, and everything was working flawlessly. I stream a lot of content that is in Dolby Atmos, so I was intrigued when I discovered that this product could deliver that sound in the headphones. I’m not going to waste more time in my life telling you every detail, but the sound was horrible, and the way that it interfaces with TV causes more trouble than this thing is worth. You would think that everything would play nice since it is all Sony. Like another reviewer said, you can’t even adjust the volume with the TV remote once it is paired. I went back to the way everything was before, and the sound is great. My TV behaves like it should again. When I turn headphone’s on, the TV switches from soundbar to headsets, and vice versa when I turn them off. BTW, I have a Sony HTA-5000 sound bar, so I really drank the Kool-Aid. Don’t get me wrong, all of my other Sony products have been working great for me, this thing is just junk. Don’t waste your time like I did. I will request return today.

Not useful – Really don’t understand the use of this device. I get far better sound quality with XM4 headphones connected via Bluetooth to Sony XR TV. Also, you cannot control volume on the remote when connected to this device. What kind of a technology is that?

Ready to set up, getting amazing Dolby sound v Effortless ❗ – Had just purchased the new Sony WH1000XM4 and the WF1000XM4, unbeknownst to me at the time, You have to have this adapter (WLA-NS7) for either of the products to work with my Sony XBR TV’s. @Sony❗❗❗ Otherwise than that caveat, the experience has been jaw dropping sound quality. You must hear it to Believe it.

a workaround for syncing issues between wh1000xm4 and samsung tv – To the Sony wh1000xm4 community (especially those affected by the Samsung TV incompatibility).

Easy to use, limited for the money – This adapter does exactly what it advertises, and it does it well – but you might want to see what other options there are. I won’t name any specifics, but there are several brands which make bluetooth transmitter/receiver devices that are more flexible. If all you want is a basic, reliable bluetooth transmitter, this is a good choice, but since its only input is toslink (optical audio) you are limited and may require a toslink splitter if your main audio solution uses the same cable. If this is the case, I would recommend looking at alternatives that might support aptx. I am also a little disappointed that this unit (and any unit currently made by Sony) does not support the same LDAC codec that Sony’s own flagship Bluetooth headphones do support.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! – Sony transmitter would not stay paired. Sent it back to Sony for exchange may 18. Fedex delivered it may 20. Still waiting for verification, said to take 2-3 business days Wish I had returned it to Amazon. for a refund instead. My xm4 headphones sound great without the WLA-NS7 transmitter. I got a new one 6-6 and after 2 hrs with Sony support, the same problem persists – it will NOT stay paired, despite the help guide promise that it will. Just a little frustrated!
