I’ve used these for years, solid quality! – I’ve used these POE Texas injectors/splitters for years. In some cases they have outlived the cameras. From a review of the camera I purchase I was led to this device, and I can confirm it works with the Foscam G4. I found it difficult to be 100% certain of compatibility but decided to take a risk. I hooked it up and it works fine.

Great way to get power to a remote network device. – Many of my non-POE cameras, I have been setting up with these power extensions. It is so much easier to run a cat 5/6 cable the length that I want and terminate it, then it is to find the right power cord extension. Additionally, if I ever want to actually run a network to that location, I already have the network cable out to the camera. These are not that expensive for making setting up power to remote cameras much easier.
