If you have a weak wifi signal, buy this to boost it. IT WORKS! – NETGEAR WiFi Mesh Range Extender EX6250

– I have been using this product as a wi-fi extender for nearly 2 years now. My home office is on the second level at the other side of the internet router (thank you NBN for being so inflexible on the location of my utility box), it is not that far but the signal simply becomes too weak for online meetings for work. This Netgear Wi-Fi extender really makes it all possible for me to work and play (video chat with friends and family overseas) from every corner in my unit.

– Works about half the time. Using it to extend wifi to my outdoor Nest cam. The wifi extender is located indoors about ten feet from my modem/router and just 1 foot from the outdoor camera. The red connections lights are on half the time. There are no physical barriers between this device and my modem so there should be no trouble acquiring a signal. And it is a simple wood/drywall barrier between it and the outdoor camera. No metal or electrical devices to cuse interference. Not good value for the money.
