Possible issues with 24/7 WiFi access. – The unit I received from Amazon was dead on arrival as it didn’t recognize battery, so I had to return it. I bought another one from a local AT&T store and after activating it I found a much bigger problem. This Hotspot doesn’t work with the power plugged-in and asks me to remove the power after the battery is charged. This makes it totally unusable for me because I need it to work 24 hours/day without me being around, while it requires that I plug it into power to charge it, then it stops working and requires that I disconnect it from power after its charged, then I have to reconnect it back into power after the battery is discharged, then it stops working and requires that I disconnect it from power after the battery is charged, and so on. This is just ridiculous. Who could even think of such design and not make a unit that simply works 24/7 when simply connected to power.

HAD SIM CARD STUCK IN IT – Overall it works, but the one I received was obviously a prior amazon return; The previous user had inserted a mini/micro sim, SIDEWAYS, into the sim tray (which takes one full size sim card), and stuck it so far in that you couldn’t retrieve it.

Returning the Item…and What did I find…. o_0 – So I began the process of returning this item and from the point of clicking the return button, to getting to the return “Hub Locker”, everything seemed great. HOWEVER, when I walked into the crowded Hub Locker (85 5th St. Atlanta, GA. @GA Tech U.) I walk in and wait near the back of the room because of the 15 – 20 people that were waiting. I get a call, “Are you returning, Sir?” I say, “Yes” and the young gentleman motioned that i should come to the front of the group. he takes the package and advises that their computers are down and I would get an email within 24 hours from Amazon. However, he didn’t motion to give me any confirmation for taking my return. So I said, “Wait, i’m gonna need something to confirm I dropped this package off”, and before I could get my sentence out, this woman sitting at the (what looked like) main computer at the store’s front desk, “THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN GIVE YOU!!” Stunned at the “aggressive delivery” of her words, I was not happy at that moment! The young gentleman (kinda short with black rimmed glasses) offered that I could take a snapshot of the package and keep that for your records, which I certainly appreciated at that moment. The RUDE AND BITTER woman kept tapping away at her computer ( Didn’t get her name but she looked as though she was a manager. She had on a Gray shirt unlike the black shirts the two other guys behind the counter wore) with no eye contact to me, or the 15, or so patrons awaiting some semblance of “Service” in the location. Needless to say, i will be making it known to my “Circle” and the “Amazon decision-makers” that this location of the Amazon “Hub Locker” is not a place to patronize if you want good service. Now, there is the concern of my package even getting to the Amazon vendor because of the “horrible” impression” I got by simply attempting a simple “In and Out” return of a purchased product.
