This dongle does the job well, if you have a lot of USB-A devices you need to hook up to your iPad Pro 11 (2018) or MBP 13” (2019). I’m using it to connect a MIDI player and a headphone adapter to my iPad, while also charging the iPad. Sound plays through the headphone adapter on separately powered stereo speakers left over from a really old Apple computer, and it’s great for “piano” practice, using th GarageBand app!

More reliable than other more expensive brands – Ordered this on Prime Day and have not been disappointed. It has outperformed a Satechi USB-C hub I purchased a year ago. All the ports work to perfection. HDMI has no issues and all the ports actually work. I thought I was going crazy when I would plug items into the Satechi and didn’t work. I assumed that would be the case for all hubs given the price tag. But I was wrong. Highly recommend.

Love it! This is a great USB Hub! – I spent hours trying to decide on a USB hub for my MacBook Air with a port for my external monitor. This one got my attention because it has four high speed USB ports. After endless comparison, I took the plunge and purchased this one. I love it. My problem with my existing Apple hub was that I could never count on my external monitor getting the right signals from my computer. Now I can just unhook from the hub when I want to take the computer to another room and plug it back in without any computer drama, formerly I’d wait up for 30 minutes for the external monitor to perform, etc. So I do recommend it without reservation. It’s only been a week so I will update if there are problems. It does feel hot to the touch with just the monitor and an external hard drive attached. Hoping that’s not a problem.

Love it! This is a great USB Hub! – I spent hours trying to decide on a USB hub for my MacBook Air with a port for my external monitor. This one got my attention because it has four high speed USB ports. After endless comparison, I took the plunge and purchased this one. I love it. My problem with my existing Apple hub was that I could never count on my external monitor getting the right signals from my computer. Now I can just unhook from the hub when I want to take the computer to another room and plug it back in without any computer drama, formerly I’d wait up for 30 minutes for the external monitor to perform, etc. So I do recommend it without reservation.
