Works similar to the full size Alfa WiFi Camp Pro 3, but with smaller pieces designed for indoor use or smaller spaces. Dual band compatible so you can connect to both 2.4 and 5 Ghz WiFi signals. Powered by AC wall power supply (included), optional 12v power supply (car charger style) is NOT included but can be purchased separately
Not capable of connecting to cellular networks, it is WiFi only.
It includes the same R36AH USB Wi-Fi router that is in the Alfa WiFi Camp Pro 3, but instead of the larger outdoor USB tube and antenna, it includes an indoor USB receiver and smaller 5 dBi antenna, designed to stay indoors. The kit is not weatherproof- buyers looking for an outdoor solution should look at the full size ALFA WiFi Camp Pro 3 kit.
Operating system independent- this works similar to a repeater but with longer range. Therefore you can complete setup on a Microsoft Windows computer, Apple Mac computer, iPhone or iPad, or Android device. Connect your device to the CampPro WiFi signal that will broadcast once plugged in, and follow the setup steps to complete setup in a web browser or browser app (such as Safari or Chrome). No app install required.
