Works very well. – I use this to extent me service over the lanth of a foot ball field. This is a non obstructed area amd works very well. I have another area that is about 75 yards away that has large trees and small buildings in the path of travel and it works very well there too.

Disappointing – I think I may just have unreal expectations. I was trying to extend a Wi-Fi network from the center of a 12 building single-family home facility sizing in at roughly 1600 ft² (0.04 acre). I mounted this SOB on a grounded 8′ emt mast mounted to the side of the building on the top of the third floor (which places the antenna height roughly 45-50′ with little to no obstructions in its way. Line of sight to any of the corners of the property from the mast is just about 250′. On the days I can connect to the damn thing, I’m not sure if it’s a curse or a blessing. I mean yeah I am finally connected to the Wi-Fi extender that I should have no trouble connecting to but on the other hand once connected the internet connectivity comes and goes as it pleases.

WiFi signal is much better than I had expected. – My house is sitting in the middle of 3 acres where I installed the MyMax 600 in the breezeway between the house and garage. My hope was to pickup wifi in the barn which is 120 feet away. With the MyMax installed I can now get a strong signal inside the barn plus another 200 feet into the pasture. I am more than pleased with the performance. I also installed a security camera to pick up vehicles coming into our driveway from the street and MyMax has increased the wifi strength to where the camera picks up and send a signal 120′ away.
