Works great – Installed over 100’ of cat6, 100’ RG6 and 50’ RG59 all connected and barreled together. It worked immediately without any issues. This was for a Luma IP 110 series camera. Poe worked well

Works — but changes MAC address of cam behind (so static IP address assignments no longer work) – The device works. BUT a warning. For some reason it changes the MAC address of the attached camera so that static IP address assignments for the known MAC address of the camera (in the main router) no longer work. Just very odd. I was previously using a more expensive EoC device that did not do this.

Good for running POE cameras over RG59. – If you’re looking at using this item, you may well have coaxial cable running to a CCTV camera and wanting to put a POE camera at the end of that run.

Work as specified and very good price – Im using this product with a cameras, intercoms and computers. in an elevator (52fl building) is working perfect (coax). using with a twisted pair is working 600ft and with single pair (18×2) is working fine but only 150ft I did try at 300ft but gave me some errors.

Does the job it’s meant to do – Thanks to the previous homeowners, my house has coax wiring *everywhere*: bedrooms, bathroom, sunroom, fireplace…it’s kind of excessive. Of course, the cabling must be stapled in place, because I can’t use the existing runs to get new ethernet out. Well, we got sick of our consumer WiFi router, so I sprung for a more robust system (Ubiquiti UniFi, which I’m familiar with from work, but that’s not what I’m reviewing here) and got this PoE-compatible coax adapter to reach the far end of the house for a proper WiFi network.

Fantastic! – I ordered 4 pairs to run Ubiquiti IP cameras over pre-existing coax lines. They’ve been working perfectly for years without issues, regardless of swings in temps and humidity.

Goes the distance, doesn’t do multicast – I am using these EOC adapters to connect a low-power WiFi AP and a HomeKit gate controller at the end of 1800 ft. of RG11 coax that runs from the house to the gate. I have a PoE switch, but I went ahead and purchased the Linovision 30W PoE injector in order to get the most power down the cable. You’ll need to be able to add BNC connectors onto your coax, which can be a challenge. Once it’s all hooked up, though, network function works, PoE works…so, for basic network connectivity, this is a great solution.
